Vikki

Hi, I’m Vikki. I am a Certified Play and Creative Arts Therapist. I am also the founding director of Walk Tall CIC with a big vision for bringing about change in the way schools and families can access therapeutic support for children.

I have 20 years’ experience in primary schools and children's centres and recognise that children's mental health is declining, putting pressure on local services.

Support should be available to families regardless of their circumstances. By working in collaboration with local schools we want to ensure that children are not left to manage their emotional well-being without specialist support.

Sue

Hi, I’m Sue. As a qualified Play Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 10 years’ experience, I believe passionately in the benefits of play therapy and am thrilled to be involved with Walk Tall. I have seen first-hand how beneficial this work can be to children, supporting them in their healing journey.

I also have extensive experience working in education and children centres and want to use this to help families and schools in finding the right support for their children.

Helen

Hi, I’m Helen. I am a Practice Administrator at a local accountancy firm, with a background in accounts management and banking. I have been infected by the passion within this company to support the emotional well-being of local children. I have lived in Herne Bay for over 25 years and raised three daughters. As a parent I understand that children need help at different stages as they grow and develop.

The vision at Walk Tall is a simple one and one that I want to use my skills and experience to support.

Janice

Hi, I’m Janice. I work in Canterbury District Children Centre’s and understand the current pressures on local services in supporting the ever-increasing needs of families. I am very excited to be part of Walk Tall and know we can make a real difference.

I also have experience working in the charitable sector, having previously been a trustee for a local charity. Securing funding is a large and important part of what we do in order that we can continue to offer an affordable service.
